Elbrus is a conical Caucasian volcano. Eruptions are possible on it at any time.
It's included in the list of the highest 'Peaks of the world. Its height is 5642 m
(18,510 ft) above sea level. Elbrus is part of the Main Caucasus Range, which conventionally separates Europe and Asia.
The melted glacial water flows from its slopes and feeds three rivers. One of them is Kuban. Elbrus has two peaks: Western and Eastern. Western is 21 m higher. There is a saddle between them on which climbers for 6-12 people are located.
Climbing to such a height is very difficult and therefore a small rest area is required before climbing to the peaks. In the history of mass lifting, there have been many injuries deaths due to extremely changeable weather and athletes over3estimating their strength.
The artist when he was young, climbed both peaks of Elbrus. he dedicated one of his painting to Elbrus.
